A Canadian woman was out for a walk with several pit bulls including her own when a cat attacked.

According to CBC News, Javiera Rodriguez said a house cat attacked her pit bull scratching the ears, face and jaw.

"The cat actually ran towards the dogs and started swiping at [my] dog's face," Rodriguez told CBC.

Kyla Grover, an owner of two of the dogs, witnessed the attack.

"At first I was just shocked that this cat would go after seven dogs," she said. "I thought it would get scared and run away but it never did," Grover told CBC.

She also stepped in to try to stop the attack. Both Grover and Rodriguez were injured by the cat.
