You can go to the College Football Hall of Fame for free on Friday

The College Football Hall of Fame opened in August 2014. The $68.5 million museum moved from South Bend, Indiana, to Atlanta and is one of the slew of new museums and entertainment complexes that have adjoined Centennial Olympic Park since the end of the 1996 Games.

The College Football Hall of Fame opened in August 2014. The $68.5 million museum moved from South Bend, Indiana, to Atlanta and is one of the slew of new museums and entertainment complexes that have adjoined Centennial Olympic Park since the end of the 1996 Games.

Chick-fil-A has teamed up with the College Football Hall of Fame to give guests a special treat. No, it’s not waffle fries.

Admission to tour the hall will be free on Friday, courtesy of the fast food chain.

The downtown sports attraction includes a 45-yard indoor football field and interactive exhibits. It is open Friday from 10 a.m. to  5 p.m.

Chick-fil-A is a founding partner of the sports hall, which opened in 2014, and has a restaurant there

Attendees will also receive 10 percent off full-priced items in the retail store.

Tickets normally range from $18 to $22. Active duty and retired military service members always receive free admission with a valid I.D.

The College Football Hall of Fame is located at 250 Marietta St. NW.
