The Johns Creek Fire Department is dealing with a different kind of smoke — the kind that involves cooking meat.

The department is hosting the "Burnin' Butts Fundraiser Pre-Sell" to benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, which offers programs for burn survivors.

Pre-orders for chopped pork by the pound, a full rack of ribs and whole Boston butt can be placed online until Nov. 25. Pickup will be at Emory Johns Creek Hospital the evening of Dec. 2.

The fundraiser has raised $314 of a $3,000 goal.
