A woman was carjacked and robbed by two men who pressed guns against her head after she pulled money out of an ATM in Sandy Springs on Sunday night, police said.

Sandy Springs police are still searching for the two suspects, who are described as being in their twenties. The victim said just one wore a mask. The vehicle, a 2012 blue Nissan Versa, was recovered by the Doraville Police Department about an hour and a half later, but was leaking oil and gas after being involved in a single-car accident.

The woman told police the two men also took her Samsung Galaxy 7 cell phone, the $50 she took out of the ATM and her Coach brand wallet — which held her I.D. and credit card.

A police report from the incident said an officer responded to a call from the woman at 10:12 p.m. Sunday night. She told police she was using a Chase ATM at 5920 Roswell Road when the two suspects exited their car on the other side of the ATM.

Police said the woman didn’t know what kind of car the suspects drove.

The two men approached the woman’s car — one on the passenger’s side and one on the driver’s side — and both pointed guns in her face and told her to “get out of the car,” police said.

The woman told police that during the incident she grabbed one of the guns and pushed it out of her face a few times. Both males eventually put their guns to the woman’s head, one at her temple and one on her cheek.

“It’s not enough room (to get out), because I parked close to the ATM,” the woman told Channel 2 Action News. “I just feel they must’ve been very desperate. They must’ve just came from doing something they shouldn’t have been doing.”

One of the men then helped the woman unbuckle her seat belt before jumping in and speeding away, police said. The woman eventually made her way to a local restaurant — the Battle & Brew — where she called police.

The location of the carjacking is same spot where shots were fired into another woman's car in September 2016.
