Williams Sonoma will be one of the many additions to the Avalon shopping center in Alpharetta, but it will be unique for its Georgia flavor.
Based in San Francisco, Williams Sonoma — a retailer selling kitchenware and home furnishings — will have 10 locations in Georgia with the addition of its Avalon location. This Williams Sonoma, opening on April 13, will feature products from 11 businesses in Georgia.

- Georgia Olive Company
- Doux South Specialties
- Savannah Bee Company
- Southern Culture Foods
- Byrd's Cookies
- Wisham Jellies
- Southern Soul BBQ
- Verdant Kitchen
Williams Sonoma, along with many of the other new stores in Avalon's East Boulevard expansion, will open at 10 a.m. on April 13. The store will have many specials and events through the nest few following days, including an American Girl Springtime Cupcake Event.
At 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, Williams Sonoma will teach junior chefs how to bake and decorate cupcakes. The cost per child is $30 and it is suitable for ages 8 to 13.
The 7,206-square-feet store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 7 p.m.
