A transformer fire temporarily darkened The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta and nearby traffic lights Thursday, according to Woodstock police.

The Cherokee County outlet mall was without power about 20 minutes, according to tweets from the police agency.

The cops first alerted the public to the transformer fire at Ridgewalk Parkway about 11 a.m.

More than 45 minutes later, they tweeted that the lights were back.

A mall spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
