Traffic Alert: Part of Roswell Road closed through Friday

Sandy Springs says that a section of the northbound lane on Roswell Road will be closed through Friday.

The section of the road that will be closed is near the intersection of Roswell Road and Carpenter Drive Northeast.

That area of the road will be closed Thursday and Friday as crews prepare for the realignment at Cliftwood Drive Northeast this weekend.

Sandy Springs says it will be slow in that area, so drivers should plan accordingly.

Drivers should also know about another road closure in Sandy Springs happening on Thursday and Friday: one eastbound left lane and one westbound left turn lane will close on Abernathy Road from Barfield Road to Peachtree Dunwoody Road. This road closure reminder comes from GDOT and is related to the “Transform 285/400” project.
