Fresh and locally grown fruits and veggies will be easily accessible again for the folks in Roswell.

The Roswell Farmers and Artisans Market will be open for the first time in 2017 this Saturday, April 15, from 8 a.m. to noon. The market will be open every Saturday now through Oct. 28.

Last year, the market hosted chef demos and activities for kids, sold fresh seafood, homemade pasta, flowers and more. Vendors include farmers, artists and food-related business owners within a 100-mile radius of Roswell.

The market began serving Roswell in the spring, summer and fall months in 2007 and has grown each year since. In 2011, the market was voted the No. 1 Medium-Size Market in America by Farmland Trust.

Shoppers can find the market in the parking lot behind Roswell’s city hall at 38 Hill Street.

For more information, visit the market's website and Facebook page.
