Stone Mountain Park is shutting down amid the threat of severe weather Wednesday.

“We have decided to close the park attractions and cancel this evening's Lasershow, spokeswoman Jeanine Jones said. “The park gates are still open since we have lodging facilities located inside Stone Mountain Park.”

Over in Cobb County, Six Flags Over Georgia has decided to close, even amid the busy spring break season.
