Buddy Valastro, star of TLC’s “Cake Boss” TV show, is opening a restaurant at Perimeter Mall in DeKalb County.

Carlo's Bakery is set for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 8 at 6:30 a.m., according to the company's website.

Valastro is set to attend.

His primary location is in Hoboken, New Jersey, where the TV show is filmed, highlighting the high-pressure atmosphere of the busy bakery known for wedding and specialty cakes.

Also coming to Perimeter Mall is a new Mexican spot and a new pizza place.
