Two council members in Johns Creek fought off challengers to retain their seats in Tuesday’s election, but a runoff will decide who takes the third council seat that was on the ballot.
The third council post in Johns Creek will have a new representative, but voters won’t find out who their new council member is until Dec. 5.
That’s when voters will decide between John Bradberry and Vicki Horton, the two candidates for the Post 3 seat advancing to the runoff.

Bradberry earned 2,975 votes, while 2,596 were cast for Horton. Mark Venco, who will not advance to the runoff, garnered 603 votes.
The two incumbents who kept their seats were Leonard Zaprowski and Stephanie Endres. Zaprowski topped Issure C. Yang in the Post 1 race by grabbing 54 percent of the vote, and Endres edged out challenger Chris Jackson by getting 71 percent of the vote.
Incumbent mayor Mike Bodker was elected for a fourth term with 3,889 votes. He ran unopposed after his challenger, businessman Alex Marchetti, dropped out a few weeks ago.
