The Rev. Al Sharpton is the featured speaker at the “State of America and the Future of our Youth and Senior Citizens” event in DeKalb County.
DeKalb Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson is hosting the panel discussion on April 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It’s at Lou Walker Senior Center, located at 2538 Panola Road, Lithonia.
Other speakers include Johnson, Commissioner Gregory Adams, state Rep. Pam Stephenson, state Rep. Doreen Carter and Lithonia Mayor Deborah Jackson.
