Registration for Milton's Camp Joyful Soles, a summer camp that serves special needs children ages 13 to 22, is now open.
The camp, held at Hopewell Middle School, includes activities such as art and drama therapy, field trips and swimming once per week, according to a Friday press release.
The Milton City Council recently agreed to again work with Alpharetta's Lionheart School to seek grant money to go towards the camp's operation.
The seven-week program is open to Milton and Alpharetta residents for $175 per week and non-residents for $262.50 per week. It is limited to 25 participants each week; parents and guardians can register for all seven weeks or only the weeks needed.
