An Atlanta man was arrested in Sandy Springs on Monday after police found several grams of drugs in his vehicle.

Andre Terrel Lewis, 46, was pulled over at 3:45 p.m. Monday on Roswell Road after making an improper turn, records show.

According to a police report, officers recovered 11.9 grams of cocaine and 63.91 grams of marijuana from the 2013 white Hyundai Accent he was driving. The cocaine was found in plastic bags and the marijuana was in mason jars.

Lewis is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, both felonies.

After a preliminary hearing, Lewis was released from jail on a $11,000 bond on Wednesday.

A cell phone and digital scale were also confiscated from his vehicle.
