A DeKalb County mother went live on Facebook from a school restroom, complaining about the conditions, which she called “unsanitary” and unacceptable.

Ashonti Dixon said she’d also complained last year about the issues at Lithonia Middle, according to Channel 2 Action News.

“I wanted to cuss so bad,” the mother said on the video, touring the restroom, which lacked soap and had plywood stall doors. “Betcha them schools in (wealthier) Dunwoody don't look like this.”

Dixon, whose son attended the school last year, told the station the kids don't deserve this.

A DeKalb County Schools representative told Channel 2 that Dixon's video was taken before custodians cleaned and restocked it with soap and paper products. The representative also said all the stall doors in the school will be replaced over the next two weeks.

The work was already scheduled as part of a program by the superintendent, the district told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Dixon said she loves Lithonia Middle and just want students to have the best environment to learn.
