Roswell launched its pilot downtown trolley program earlier this summer and has declared it a success.
But now, the city in north Fulton County is helping folks to not only tour its historic district but to experience parks and spots along the Chattahoochee River.
Roswell launched its River Parks Shuttle Service on Saturday. The shuttle is free and makes seven stops along the Chattahoochee.
The shuttle will run every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Its goal is to allow folks to visit these spots along the river without having to worry about parking.
Here’s where the shuttle will pick up and drop off visitors:
- Chattahoochee Nature Center
- Riverwalk Phase IV
- Azalea Park Boat Docks
- Riverside Park
- Ace Sand Company
- Don White Park
- Island Ford Shoals

The shuttle will run throughout the summer and doesn’t have an exact end date yet. Roswell spokeswoman Karen Zitomer says it is a pilot program, so city officials will assess the success of it as the summer continues.
