A 21-year-old man is recovering in the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday in Marietta.
Cobb officers were dispatched to the collision around 12:59 p.m. on Austell Road at Pair Road. According to traffic investigators, a black 2012 Honda CBR250 was traveling southbound on Austell Road while a black 2012 Dodge Avenger was stopped in the northbound left-turning lane on the same roadway.
According to police, the driver of the Dodge made a left turn into the path of the Honda, and the motorcycle crashed into the car. Its operator was ejected from the motorcycle and crashed into the Dodge’s windshield, Cobb police said.

Marietta resident Quincy Ochoa, the operator of the Honda, was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. Sandra Ware, 68, of Marietta, was taken to WellStar Cobb Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call Cobb police at 770-499-3987.
