Here's a somewhat surprising stat, Gwinnett gridlockers: The number of people who commute to the county for work each day actually isn't much less than the number of folks who leave it.

That according to the interesting infographic below, created by the Atlanta Regional Commission using 2014 census and jobs data.

According to the data, just over 204,000 people who live in Gwinnett County commute elsewhere every day. Nearly 183,000 do the opposite — live outside Gwinnett but commute to the county for work.

With about 311,000 total people working in Gwinnett, that means more than 58 percent of county's workforce comes from outside county lines.

So much for "going against" traffic.
