More bones have been found from a man whose skeletal remains were discovered in 2015, the Gwinnett County Police Department said.

The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted a second search on March 3 of the wooded Buford area where the man’s remains were found two years ago. Four additional bones were found, but no personal items. The medical examiner cannot determine a cause of death at this time.

Investigators have theorized the man may have been associated with contractors that worked on nearby subdivisions, police said. The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public to come forward with any tips or information they may have.

Gwinnett County detectives can be reached at 770-513-5300, and tipsters can also anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000.
