A McDonald’s outside of Johns Creek failed its health inspection last Friday after an inspector from Forsyth County observed several violations.

It's score was 59/U; scores 69 and below are failing.

The report says the inspector watched one employee handle raw beef with gloves, but the worker didn’t change gloves or wash their hands before switching to another task.

An inspector also saw raw bacon being stored above oranges in a walk-in cooler, and Canadian bacon being stored on raw shell eggs. The inspector also saw an employee preparing food while wearing a bracelet.

Other violations included food items not marked with time stickers, sinks not draining well and not being supplied with hot water, and wiping cloths being left on the counter.

This McDonald’s was last inspected on Nov. 10 and earned a score of 83/B, but it failed a test in 2015 with an October score of 54/U.

When reached by the AJC, a manager at the McDonald’s said she was “unable to comment” on the failed inspection.

A follow-up inspection is scheduled for Friday, April 21.
