Marietta police arrested three men in connection with two armed robberies and suspect the trio is involved in other robberies throughout metro Atlanta.

The department announced Monday the arrests of Tevin Mitchell, 22, of Atlanta; Torey Starling, 23, of Marietta; and Tyvonne Wiley, 20, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

An investigation linked them to the armed robberies of the GameStop at 180 Cobb Parkway South on Sept. 27 and Hibbett Sports at 781 Whitlock Ave. on Oct. 26.

A witness of the GameStop robbery told police what the getaway car, a white Hyundai Sonata, looked like.

When detectives alerted the Cobb County Police Department, Cobb police matched the car description to a GameStop robbery they were investigating.

So the agencies joined up and started combing through all their GameStop robberies.

Along with those two agencies, the Roswell, Sandy Springs and Atlanta police departments were also involved.

Police expect additional charges against the men.

The investigations also found that Wiley is an active member of the Cobb gang named the "Get Money Squad." Detectives are still looking into if Starling and Mitchell have gang affiliations.
