DeKalb County police believe a man had been drinking before causing a wreck that killed a woman on I-20 at 11:23 a.m. Saturday.
Timothy Reid Davis, 38, is accused of DUI, vehicular homicide and hit-and-run in the death of Vanessa Davis, 40, according to authorities. The two were in separate cars in the three-vehicle wreck and were apparently of no relation.
Timothy Davis of South Carolina was driving a Ford pickup hauling a trailer when one of his tires blew near Columbia Drive, a police report said.
