Following a public hearing, the Lawrenceville City Council approved a series of rezoning conditions and a special use permit to allow GS Construction Inc. to build a self-storage facility at 530 Lyle Circle.

Among the restrictions put in place, the self-storage building cannot exceed two stories and no activity can occur before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m. Monday through Friday or after 5 p.m. on Saturday. No outside activity will be allowed on Sunday.

A number of conditions were put in place to protect the privacy of residential areas behind the property including a 50-foot buffer that is free of weeds, vines and underbrush and not allowed to return to a natural buffer, as well as specific guidelines for types of screening trees to be planted and fence to be installed surrounding the property.
