Emory Johns Creek Hospital will host its annual “Ladies’ Night Out” event dedicated to women’s wellness on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

At the event, women will have access to free health screenings that will measure glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and bone density.

Attendees will have a chance to hear from clinicians during a panel discussion at 6 p.m. where doctors will educate women about cardiovascular disease and signs of heart attack and stroke.

“As women, we are often so focused on taking care of our family needs that we put our own needs aside,” said Marilyn Margolis, the hospital’s CEO. “This free community event gives women an opportunity to meet with doctors to check on themselves and learn ways to lead healthier lives and be role models for their families.”

The event will also feature a vendor expo showcasing local retailers offering beauty and fitness tips and a chance to enter drawings to win raffle prizes. Desserts and beverages will be served.
