DeKalb County police are asking for help identifying a suspect in the shooting of a Wal-Mart loss prevention officer in Lithonia.
The agency released a security camera image of the man Tuesday.
The shooting, the second in five months at the Fairington Road store, Friday afternoon. The loss prevention officer was shot while trying to stop a man suspected of stealing 12 DVDs, a police report said.
The shooter ran away.
The guard was taken to a local hospital for treatment to his shot left foot.
