The Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery in Suwanee has failed a routine health inspection, county records show.

The restaurant, known for its female servers’ skimpy uniforms, earned a 67/U on the May 30 inspection. A manager did not “demonstrate adequate food safety knowledge,” and was unable to tell the inspector the minimum temperature to which chicken must be cooked, what the most common food allergens are or cleaning procedures for vomit and diarrhea.

The inspector found black build-up in the restaurant’s ice machine and dishes with food debris on them, according to the report. Multiple foods were not properly labeled and the inspector found bug spray in the restaurant, which is not permitted under health regulations.

Tilted Kilt did not respond to a request for comment.

Follow-up inspections are typically conducted within 10 days of failures.
