The Gwinnett County Police Department has linked the theft of $4,000 in Home Depot gift cards to an Atlanta hip-hop duo.

Police issued warrants for three people allegedly involved in the theft, including two men who may be the members of Cool Amerika. The felony warrants have been issued for Evan Griffin, Kelderick Giles and Jalen Darden. Griffin and Giles may be rappers, Stunt McLovin and Bally Benjamin, according to media reports.

Griffin, Giles, Darden and one unidentified person are suspected of colluding with a Norcross Home Depot employee in the theft of $4,000 in activated gift cards which they exchanged for cash at a DeKalb County Publix.

Police do not know where Griffin, Giles and Darden may be. Anyone with information about their whereabouts can contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300. To remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

Cool Amerika’s representative listed on the group’s Facebook page told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday he no longer represents the group.
