A Suwanee bookkeeper has been charged with four felonies after a client accused her of stealing $65,000.

Arlisa Adams Bookman has been charged with computer theft, theft by taking, computer trespass and identity fraud.

The owner of the Suwanee Academy of the Arts reported the alleged theft in late February, providing the police with financial documents. The arts school was a client of Bookman’s, police said.

The city of Suwanee said Tuesday that multiple other victims had gone to the police and urged anyone else who had not come forward to do so.

Bookman was arrested May 9. She is being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
