Move over Five Guys, Shake Shack and Farm Burger — a new burger joint is coming to Sandy Springs.

Grub Burger Bar, a Texas-based "better burger" eatery, will open its fourth location in Georgia in Sandy Springs at the corner of Peachtree Dunwoody Road and Hammond Drive in the street level of the new Hanover apartment complex. A spokesperson for Grub said the 4,000-square-foot-location will be open in early November.

The burger spot got its start in College Station, Texas when Jimmy Loup started serving his burgers to Texas A&M students in 2012. It’s unclear if Johnny Manziel was a fan, but many others were and the restaurant quickly expanded with locations in seven states.

Before the Sandy Springs location is built, folks can check out other metro Atlanta Grub Burger Bar’s in Druid Hills, Cumming and the Cobb Galleria.

The chain’s website lists the “Lockhart Legend” as its most popular burger. It includes applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, two onion rings and sliced dill pickles.

Grub offers various options of burger proteins with the ability to make patties from beef, turkey, chicken, salmon, tuna and veggies. Its menu also features chicken, several sides, salads, bowls, drinks and milkshakes.

In 2013, the Huffington Post named Grub one of "14 Burger Concepts Worth Watching in 2014." At the time, Loup said Grub was actually an acronym for "Good people, Real food, Unique vibe and Big flavors."
