In a “terrifying” incident, a northwest Georgia teen was left dangling several feet above the ground at a local fair Wednesday night, according to a media report.

Brayden Cooper, 13, came out of his harness on the Zipper ride at the Coosa Valley Fair when his cart’s door came open, the Rome News-Tribune reported.

The teen was able to grab the harness and hang on until fair officials could rescue him, according to the report. No injuries were reported.

His cousin, who was in the seat next to him, remained in her harness, according to the report.

“It was definitely terrifying,” Tony Cooper, the boy’s father, told the paper. “But it could’ve been a much worse outcome.”
