UPDATE: This restaurant was re-inspected Friday and received a 90/A. The report noted two violations: dented cans and "gasket/seals on cold holding unit in poor repair."

ORIGINAL (published March 2): A sushi and hibachi buffet restaurant failed a recent health inspection, with officials noting that food was placed on the buffet without employees keeping track of the time.

Lobster House, located in Alpharetta, scored a 59 following the Wednesday evaluation; 69 and below is considered failing. The restaurant's prior score, in February, was a 79.

According to the new report, an employee was observed handling fried pork with bare hands.

Officials also reported that fried chicken on a counter was too cold, and fried chicken in a cooler was too hot.

Owner Jimmy Zheng said he is not happy with the score, and they will aim to do better.

Follow-up inspections are generally completed within 10 days of a failing evaluation.
