Sandy Springs police have arrested a woman who allegedly hit an officer with a car and fled the scene.
The incident happened Friday evening when Officer Leon Millholland was on a traffic stop on Roswell Road near Morgan Falls Road.
Millholland was struck by a blue passenger vehicle and sustained “minor injuries,” according to a Wednesday press release.

Sandy Springs police captured and posted an image of the incident from what appears to be dashcam footage.Officers located the vehicle Wednesday morning on Barrington Hills Drive.
The owner, 47-year old Melanie Moser, of Sandy Springs, was charged with violating the Georgia Move Over Law and hit-and-run.
