City leaders in Johns Creek have moved into some temporary digs.

The city announced last month that it will move offices to 10700 Abbotts Bridge Road on Sept. 18.

Johns Creek’s city hall is relocating while renovations are made to the new, permanent city hall building at 11360 Lakefield Drive.

A release from the city didn’t specify how long renovations would take. Beginning Oct. 3 and until further notice, city council and other city meetings will be held at the Johns Creek municipal court and police department at 11445 Johns Creek Parkway. Meetings for the planning commission, board of zoning appeals and zoning for public participation will also be held there.

Phone numbers and email addresses for city hall and its personnel will remain the same. City hall can be reached at 678-512-3200.

Offices for business licenses, the city clerk, community development, communications, finance, fire, IT, permits, public works, recreation and parks and revenue will be at the temporary city hall. The temporary city hall will also host meetings for the arts and culture board, the public art board, and the convention and visitors bureau.
