If you’re a Milton resident, city officials want to hear from you.
As city officials continue to develop a parks and recreation master plan, they are holding two public forums where residents can voice their opinions about the plan and recent studies on it.
One meeting will be on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the City Council Chambers on Heritage Walk, and the other meeting will be on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the City Courtroom on Deerfield Parkway.

“Citizen input is vital and necessary to make this plan a success,” a release from Milton reads.
Topics at these meetings might include:
- Are Milton's existing park facilities meeting its residents' recreation needs?
- How can Milton improve?
- What recreation facilities or programs is Milton missing?
“Master planning provides a long-range vision for the city, its departments and facilities,” Milton mayor Joe Lockwood wrote it his newsletter sent out Saturday. “It also helps city officials prioritize resources and make informed decisions in a manner that's consistent with what taxpayers envision for their community.”
Milton is also in the process of developing a plan for Providence Park, refreshing its trail plan and working on a tree ordinance.
