Voters in Johns Creek will get a chance to hear from the people whose names will populate their ballots in November.
Three posts on the city’s council are up for a vote, as is the mayoral seat.
On Oct. 17, the Johns Creek Rotary Club of North Fulton will partner with the Johns Creek Herald to host a forum for all of the candidates. It will begin at 6:45 p.m. and will be held at the Standard Club at 6320 Abbotts Bridge Road.

A flyer for the event says the forum will be moderated by Johns Creek Herald editor Hatcher Hurd, CBS-46's Karyn Greer, and Mike Petchenik of Channel 2 Action News.
In the mayor's race, local businessman Alex Marchetti is challenging the incumbent Mike Bodker. Marchetti has lived in Johns Creek for more than two decades, while Bodker has been the city's mayor since 2006.

For Post 1 on the city council, Issure Chen Yang is challenging Lenny Zaprowski. For Post 5, incumbent Stephanie Endres is facing a challenger in Chris Jackson.
Post 3 is a wide-open race between three newcomers – John Bradberry, Mark Venco and Vicki Horton. Current Post 3 council member Cori Davenport is not seeking reelection.
At the forum, a meet-and-greet will begin at 6:15 p.m.
Early voting begins Oct. 16. Election Day is Nov. 7.
