The Suwanee City Council voted earlier this month to award contracts to Lord Aeck Sargent and Clark Patterson Lee for the 2040 Comprehensive Plan.

These two planning consultants will work with the city through a process to determine the community’s goals. The process will include community meetings, surveys and meetings with city officials to determine what the city has already accomplished, what things the city would like to accomplish next, and how to get there.

Once completed, the 2040 Comprehensive Plan will help dictate public policy related to transportation, economic development, land use, facilities, recreation, social services and housing.
