The FBI and police agencies in metro Atlanta are teaming up to find a man accused of robbing five banks in Cobb, north Fulton and Cherokee counties since August.

The most recent incident was in Roswell on Wednesday, according to the FBI's Atlanta division.

At 2:46 p.m., the man entered the Regions Bank at 865 Woodstock Road in Roswell and gave a note to a teller demanding money, authorities said. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the teller and left without incident.

The suspect is accused of two bank robberies in Marietta, one in Woodstock, and another in Roswell on Aug. 19.

FBI’s Atlanta division announced in a release Thursday it's working with law enforcement from the city of Roswell, and Cobb and Cherokee counties.

The bureau's latest description of the man lists him as being in his mid-to-late 40s, about 6 feet tall, with “short scruffy hair.” The suspect wore a black hat, sunglasses, a dark gray long-sleeved shirt and bandages were reported on his hand.
