WorkSource DeKalb is hosting a two-day event to help get local youths ready for work.

On April 3 and 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the young people will have access to free workshops on resume writing, dressing for work, effective communication and entrepreneurship.

Attendees also can participate in a job fair and get assistance researching scholarships.

Space is limited. Register online to reserve a spot at www.bit.do/youthrock.

The location is Georgia Piedmont Technical College Conference Center, 495 North Indian Creek Road, Clarkston.
