Two DeKalb County schools were briefly put on lockdown Friday as police searched for suspects from a nearby home invasion.
The lockdowns at Livsey Elementary and Tucker High were lifted after the suspects couldn’t be located in the area, police said.
Police said they were searching for three armed men who were dressed in black when they broke into a home on Chamblee-Tucker Road. They allegedly forced the homeowner into a bedroom, causing minor injuries.
“The suspects stole an unknown amount of money and a TV,” Lt. Lonzy Robertson said. “They left the location on foot. K9 and aerial support were called but they are not currently tracking.”
Further information wasn’t immediately available.
