A Lithonia man is facing 23 charges after allegedly leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit with a juvenile in the car, the Newnan-Times Herald reported.

Gonkerwon Zoe, 29, was spotted allegedly speeding Saturday around mile marker 38 on I-85 and sped away from the Georgia State Patrol.

Troopers deployed “stop sticks” at the top of an exit ramp, which Zoe then hit, the paper said.

Zoe’s car soon crashed into another car, which had an infant in the backseat, police said. There were no injuries reported.

The juvenile in Zoe’s car was taken back to DeKalb County by a relative.

Zoe allegedly told troopers he fled because of a suspended license.

His charges include fleeing police, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless conduct and many more, the paper reported.
