Heck hath no fury like...

A Powder Springs woman was charged with battery after police say she allegedly poured a bucket of water on her sleeping husband.

According to an arrest warrant, the woman pushed her husband out of the bedroom they share into the guest room early May 7.

While he was sleeping in the guest room, she walked in and poured the water on him, according to the warrant, which does not say what happened before the argument.

The woman resisted when officers were trying to arrest her, they say in the warrant, and had to pin her arms down to get her in handcuffs.

She bonded out about five days later for $2,420. Police did not say how cold or hot the water was.

Technical foul

Two men were arrested for allegedly fighting at a youth basketball game in Marietta, according to a warrant.

The men, one from North Carolina and the other from South Carolina, were at Suwanee Sports Academy Cobb on Canton Road on May 7.

They are accused of hitting each other and causing “a disruption in the basketball game,” according to the warrant, which doesn’t say what the fight was about.

Both men bonded out of Cobb jail that same day.

Copping someone’s style

An Austell woman is accused of stealing someone’s bolero Jacket off of someone’s front porch.

The May 9 warrant says the woman stole the cropped jacket after it had been delivered and drove off.

The victim was left with chilly shoulders, but a neighbor gave her a description of the car and a full license plate.

The information led police to the accused thief who, along with her boyfriend on probation, was recorded on camera returning the jacket to the Dillard’s at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, police said.

She was given a bond of $1,500.

Felonious flora

A Marietta man is accused of growing 26 marijuana plants in his Fox Hound Parkway home.

He grew the plants, which were mature enough to have root systems, in his closet with a bright light, according to the May 4 warrant.

The warrant did not say how police became aware of the plants.

He was given a $10,000 bond.
