On Jan. 20, Dunwoody police posted a photo to Facebook seeking the identity of a smiling blonde woman who was missing and “possibly endangered.”
A week and a half later, the woman, who is described as a "person of interest" in a commercial sex investigation, still hasn't been found. The affluent northern DeKalb County suburb was recently the site of a massive prostitution bust, netting 56 arrests, including a Gwinnett County prosecutor.
Police said Wednesday the missing woman, petite with a tattoo of a blue owl on her shoulder, was “possibly” related to the busted operations.
“Officials have reason to be concerned for her well-being,” Dunwoody police spokesman Mark Stevens said on Facebook.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective C. Gilbert at 678-382-6997 or caleb.gilbert@dunwoodyga.gov to confirm her well-being.
