A man broke into a Gwinnett County church and stole the congregation’s van, Gwinnett County police said.

The police department is trying to identify the man, who was caught on surveillance video. He slept on a heating unit outside Salt and Light Presbyterian Church in Buford overnight on Jan. 16. The morning of Jan. 17, he used a sledgehammer to break into the building and left with clothes, red headphones and the 15-passenger van.
