Cops: Glock, crack cocaine, $5,000 seized in N. Fulton drug bust

Sandy Springs police arrested three men and recovered drugs, money and a weapon when they executed a search warrant on Wednesday.

At the residence on Marsh Tail Circle, police found 58 grams of crack cocaine, four grams of powder cocaine, $5,663 in cash, a Glock 19 9mm handgun and a 14-round magazine. Police also seized several ledgers and miscellaneous documents.

Efren Montoya of Lawrenceville, Jose J. Ceja and Alberto Ortiz of Atlanta were arrested and booked at the Sandy Springs police department.

Ortiz and Ceja were charged with possession of a controlled substance, but were released on Thursday after police declined to prosecute. Montoya was charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and trafficking in cocaine. He remains in Fulton County jail, according to jail records.
