Cops: Driver going 119 mph in I-285 race that killed 3

DeKalb County police believe Kane Danger's 2014 Chevrolet Camaro was doing 119 mph on I-285 when he allegedly caused a wreck that left three people dead.

Warrants released this week claim Danger, 35, of Decatur was reckless after midnight on Feb. 18, while trying to beat another Camaro near I-675. Danger’s car went into the other’s lane, and both lost control, the documents say.

The other driver, Marshall Hill, 31, of Decatur, and his passenger, Phillip Smith, 32, of Lithonia, were ejected. Mariah Page, 22, of Decatur, was trapped in Danger’s Camaro and was pronounced dead at the scene, a police report said.

Danger declined to comment Tuesday, referring a reporter to his attorney, Joe S. Habachy. The lawyer couldn’t be reached immediately.
