A Lawrenceville gas station clerk was cleaning up shortly before midnight on Feb. 4 when he heard the sound of a glass bottle shattering.

The clerk went to the drink cooler to assess the damage. Inside the cooler, he found a man.

The man jumped out of the cooler and pointed a gun at the clerk’s head, demanding he open the register and hand over the money inside, a Lawrenceville Police Department report said.

The Shell clerk gave the man between $200 and $500 in a black plastic bag and the man ran off on Hurricane Shoals Road.

Cops found a BB gun in the direction he’d run.

The police have been looking for him ever since.

The clerk of the store, 256 Hurricane Shoals Road, described the man as a skinny with a beard and mustache, wearing a white Philadelphia Phillies hat, black latex gloves, a black jumpsuit, white undershirt and black and white sneakers.

If you have any information related to this case, you can call the Lawrenceville Police Department at 770-963-2443.
