Convergint Technologies, a service-based systems integration provider, is expanding its operations at 1955 Evergreen Blvd. in Duluth. The growth represents 150 existing jobs, a projected 33 percent increase in new jobs, and $1 million in capital investment for the community.
Convergint’s 25,000-square-foot facility will house the company’s team that brings integration capabilities for electronic security, fire alarm, life safety and building automation systems.
“This expansion will enable us to recruit, hire and develop the colleagues needed to support our projected growth and bring further investment and new competencies to the local area, thereby contributing to economic prosperity here in Gwinnett County,” said Tim Beasley, Vice President and General Manager for Convergint Technologies.
Convergint’s Atlanta and southeastern teams have more than tripled their annual revenue in the past five years. The company expects to grow an additional 15 percent per year to include the addition of 50 employees over the next few years.
