Coca-Cola and SunTrust have committed $2 million in a partnership with the Westside Future Fund to add extra teachers and paraprofessionals in 21 Atlanta classrooms.

The money will fund positions at Hollis Innovation Academy, a K-8 school in the Vine City neighborhood. The $2 million in philanthropic commitment is the start of a five-year plan from the Westside Future Fund to raise $16 million in order to improve education outcomes at Hollis and other schools in the neighborhood.

Atlanta Public Schools and the Westside Future Fund will work together to create a “cradle-to-college pipeline” of schools in the English Avenue, Vine City, Ashview Heights and Atlanta University Center neighborhoods.
