Atlanta residents are encouraged to join the Department of Public Works, the Department of Corrections, the Atlanta Police Code Enforcement and the Keep Atlanta Beautiful Commission for the Mayor’s Neighborhood “Clean It Up” Campaign.
This is a concerted effort to host a citywide amnesty clean-up day where residents will not be fined for trash/debris around their property. The clean-up event will focus on cleaning up liter and debris in a different quadrant of the city each month.
For this month, the event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 28 at Gun Club Community Center in Council District 9.
