Christmas tree lighting, holiday parade coming to Snellville

Santa Claus is coming to town. Well, to Snellville, that is.

The city of Snellville is hosting its annual Lighted Christmas Parade Saturday night.

The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday on Wisteria Drive and Oak Road in Snellville. The parade will be followed by the tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. and a meet-and-greet with with Santa from 7 to 9 p.m.

There are other activities such as cookie decorating, s'more building, hay rides and carriage rides. Tickets can be purchased with cash or canned goods to benefit Give Hunger the Boot.
